Information we collect

2.1 We collect information that identifies you or can reasonably identify you. This includes your name, business name, street and delivery addresses, telephone number and email address; your ABN, ACN and trade account details where you give them to us; your project layout files, floor plans, dimensions and specifications; your account username and password; and your order, billing and transaction records.

2.2 Card details are entered through our payment gateway. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.

2.3 When you use our website or portal we may automatically collect technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device and operating system details, pages visited and cookie data. Cookies are small files stored on your device. You can block them in your browser settings, but parts of the portal may stop working.

2.4 We do not knowingly collect sensitive information, such as health or biometric information. Please do not include it in project files or messages.

How we collect it

3.1 We collect personal information directly from you when you register an account, create project files in our design software, request a quote, place an order, make a payment, or contact us by telephone, email or web form.

3.2 We also receive information through the third-party design and ordering software that runs our portal, including GoCabinets and cabinetry.online. Those providers may collect information under their own privacy policies.

3.3 If you give us information about another person, such as a site contact, you confirm that you have told them and that they agree.

3.4 You may deal with us anonymously or under a pseudonym when you make a general enquiry. We need your identity and contact details to process an order or maintain an account.

Why we collect, use and disclose it

4.1 We use personal information to operate accounts and trade access; run the design planner and calculate pricing; manufacture, package and deliver orders; issue invoices, process payments and keep tax records; tell you about order status, lead times and delivery; answer enquiries and complaints; keep our website and systems secure; and meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

4.2 We use personal information for another purpose only where you consent, where you would reasonably expect it and it relates to the purpose of collection, or where the law requires or permits it.

4.3 With your consent, or where the law allows, we may send you news and offers by email or text message. Every message will include a way to opt out, and you can also opt out at any time by contacting us. We will not send you marketing messages that breach the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).

5.1 We disclose personal information only as needed to run our business, to: our design and ordering software providers; freight and courier companies who deliver your order; website hosting, cloud storage and cybersecurity providers; payment gateways and banks; and our lawyers, accountants and auditors. Overseas disclosure

6.1 Some of our software, hosting and cloud providers store or process data outside Australia, such as the United States.
